That is right! Everyone’s favorite movie is now Broadway bound musical!
In 2010 A Christmas Story, The Musical continues its march toward Broadway with this year’s production taking place at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, WA.
A Christmas Story The Musical!, which premiered at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre in 2009, will next play Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre from November 30 – December 19, 2010.
A Christmas Story The Musical! played as a pre-Broadway engagement and enjoyed an extended run in Kansas City. The Kansas City production was the most successful engagement in the history of the Kansas City Repertory Theatre grossing over $900,000 in ticket sales. The producers will continue developing the production at the 5th Avenue Theatre this year with the goal of taking the production to Broadway in 2011.
