CLEVELAND – May 1, 2018 – A Christmas Story House & Museum will be hosting a celebration of First Responders on Saturday, May 5th 2018 from 10 am – 5 pm. All Firefighters, Police Officers, and EMS that provide a valid ID will be able to purchase a Buy One Get One ticket to tour the iconic movie home. This will be a fantastic opportunity to hear people exclaim “Holy cow, it’s the fire department! Wow, it’s the cops!”, just like in our favorite film.
There will also be representatives on-site from the newly opened Western Reserve Fire Museum and Education Center, whose mission is to provide a first-class regional fire museum and education center to dramatically increase fire safety programming and reduce the numbers of fire deaths and injuries in Northeast Ohio. Please visit their website to find out more about their museum and their mission.
There will also be fun photo opportunities with our 1939 Ford Fire Truck, from the (mythical) Hohman Volunteer Fire Department!
